Loren Martell is currently an At-Large candidate for the Duluth school board. A widower, not quite retired, he’s a bit of a workaholic who does a lot of writing in both nonfiction and creative veins. Over the past several years, he’s also spent an immense amount of time on school district issues, because good government is essential and education is the roadmap to the future.
